Enfield Council’s Youth Portal website is a platform to provide safe and positive activities for young people aged 10-19 and up to 25 if the young person has a disability. We collect your personal information at the time of registration to ensure that we can provide activities in a safe environment and so young people have access to free positive activities all year round.
Our legal basis for this is the public task of providing facilities to Enfield residents. Information collected on this registration form will be collected and provided to Enfield Council. If a young person wishes to participate in these free activities, we require your (aged 13+) or a parent/guardian/carer’s consent to: Share your data with the organisations which deliver activities/programmes as part of the Enfield Youth Portal website.
We also process your information for youth election purposes. We rely on your consent to do this.
Your data will remain in the UK and not be shared abroad.
We store your data so that we can provide you with up-to-date information regarding up and coming activities. However, if you do not participate in any activities/programmes for 3 years your data will be removed, and you will need to re-register. Enfield Council recognises that some of your information may be sensitive, and all your data will be handled in accordance with the data protection law.
You have rights under data protection law; including the rights to have a copy of your data, have your data erased, to correct it or object to our processing.
