Local Offer for Care Leavers
This is the guide that all local authorities are required to provide you with. It contains information about the services and support that Care Leavers are entitled to and able to access within their local authority.
Enfield Leaving Care Team is committed to providing all its Care Leavers with a central space where you can just drop in to relax and get advice, guidance and support. It provides a welcoming space where you can have formal meetings with your Social Worker or Personal Advisor as well as take part in one to one sessions, various activities and workshops.
The Enfield Care Leavers Forum is a group of Care Experienced young people aged 18 to 25 years. The forum is supported by a dedicated Engagement and Participation Officer who is part of the Enfield Care Leavers Service.
There are many companies that recognise that some care leavers need additional support with making their money stretch further. Enfield Care Leavers Service are working to collate the various companies that are currently offering discounts specially for care leavers – keep an eye on this page as it will be updated regularly
Enfield’s Leaving Care Strategy sets out Enfield’s vision and priorities for Care Leavers. It includes an overview of existing support and the areas we are also working hard to strengthen.
