The 2025 Ignite Awards on 21 August celebrated the exceptional achievements of young people in Enfield and those who participated in this year’s Summer Uni programme.
The awards ceremony was attended and presented by guests, including Councillor Abdul Abdullahi, Cabinet Member for Children’s Services; Linda Crawford, Head of Youth Justice Services; and the Young Leaders.
From hip-hop dance, ELM music, and drama performances to a creative fashion runway show, and Summer Uni film, guests were entertained throughout the evening.
Commenting on the success of young people, Councillor Abdullahi said: “I’m honoured to present these awards to our young people who’ve gone far and beyond to be a brilliant example for the next generation.
“Each award winner, including our Young Leaders, has shown remarkable determination, resilience, and positivity. We could not be prouder of our Enfield youth.
“I would like to also express my thanks to the Service and all staff who believed, supported, and guided our young people to reach their full potential. Award nights like these would’ve not been possible without them!”
