Leo Powell

Leo produced a short film for this project.

To produce a short film, giving at risk young people (15 to 18 years old) the opportunity to gain work experience and also appear as extras within the film.

Filming will take place for four days over the October half term (28th to 31st October 2025)

Completed film to be ready for release in January 2026

Film will be available publicly on Youtube and can be used as a resource in conversations with young people regarding the themes that are addressed within the film

My previous CV of short films have accumulated over 4 million views on Youtibe.

Funding partners will have the opportunity of their logo featuring at the start of the film and also in the credits

The aims of the film are:

To raise awareness of County Lines child criminal exploitation

To explore the victim to perpetrator cycle

To raise awareness on children missing from care who get involved in County Lines.

To raise awareness on black individuals going missing, who are over 8 times more likely to go missing.

To highlight the age group that is most commonly used by drug gangs, which is 15 to 17 years old.

To raise awareness on grooming techniques used by drug gangs.

To raise awareness on the dangers of carrying weapons and the issue of serious youth violence.

To raise awareness on the invisibility issue of girls in gangs and county lines
