White Ribbon is a global movement encouraging men and boys to speak up against violence, control and disrespect towards women and girls.
In Enfield, this is linked to the Speak Up campaign, created by young people who want safer, more respectful relationships, friendships, homes and communities.
Disrespect can show up in many ways, including pressure, controlling behaviour, threats, rumours or messages that make someone uncomfortable.
Speak Up helps young people recognise harmful behaviour early, challenge it safely and support their friends.
This work supports Enfield Council’s White Ribbon n and runs alongside National Youth Work Week.
