This Build-A-Bike course aims to teach trainees a number of skills that should enable them to carry out basic maintenance on their own bikes and develop confidence in road cycling. On completion of the course, trainees will leave with a complete bike, lock and helmet!
The first day will focus on bike maintenance, with the second day developing their road cycling skills, finishing with a ride around the area. Under the careful and expert instruction from qualified mechanics, trainees will be ‘hands-on’ with bike maintenance using various tools and assembly grease.
